The DSTWO GBA card comes out as we expected,after a test of this plug-in.We are very satisfied withthe result.According to the SD team that the GBA plug-in is being improved,specially to thecompatibility.

Now let’s go to the interface,see the picture as below,GBA emulator interface is pretty nice,and it support two languages currently(Chinese and

English).Lately,SD team may add more languages .You can change the language by using the button”others”.More,this GBA emulator supports real time save state and in the button”Tools”,there is anoption for game screenshot by using customized button.

For other buttons,

In the button”Video/Audio“,player can set up the game frame,it is default as level 2.But player can

change the frame to level 1, which may speed up the game operation.

In the button”Other“,there is an option”CPU frequence“,according to SD team explanation,we take it as

“CPU Overclock”,this is effectively increase the speed when the game runnig in GBA emulator.But it does not work on all the games.For example,”Golden Sun DS” is not as good as other games during testing.There are four level,0 to 4 .Here,the test GBA emulator plugin ,”0″ means the highest level,4 refers to the lowest level.However,the official released verison,”4″ means the highest level,”0″ refers to the lowest level.

There is one thing that we need to pay attention that any change in the above mentioned function”Tools” or “Others” does no save automatically.Player need to make setting every time when change games.

Good news.The R4i-SDHC team has released to the newest kernel v1.24b for R4I-SDHC.

Attention

The card without “V1.4” mark can not be supported by NDSi V1.4 consoles temporarily ,we suggest not upgrade it to V1.4 version to avoid any failures.

How to update the kernel?

By using the TF card reader, connect your TF card with computer, open the file.

a. Upload game kernel: Copy the R4.DAT file to your TF card.

b. Upload video kernel: Copy the Moonshl2 to your TF card.

c. Upload DIY Interface function: Copy the R4iMenu to your TF card.

How to update AR cheat data base?

Upload the newest AR cheat data base, then copy the “usrcheat.dat” file to”R4iMenu” file.

Since DSi removes the SLOT-2 ,which means the GBA card or some cards similar to GBA card ,player can not play GBA games via GBA card or device similar to GBA card .However, there was a news from Nintendo official site that Nintendo Team will develop some DSi application software to run the GBA games on DSi,which will be in official DSi online store, till now we didn’t see any further news after that .

If DSi or DSi xl owner want to play GBA games, in September 2009 there is a team developed a product named, DS iPlayer, which is built-in with a strong CPU (the CPU is running over capacity DSI hardware) multimedia card, allows DSi run RMVB, FLV, RM, and other mainstream video format and playback of multiple audio formats. After the DS iplayer product released about one month, there is one guy ,named Darkchen,who developed a GBA emulator for Iplayer ,which has a good compatibility between GBA games and DSi console .So, this feels like the first time we knew that GBA game can be played on DSi . This emulator has a very nice function ,see more as below,

Recently, we have received query about the R4DS cards .However, having tested the returned items, we found that all the return items are in good working condition.When our customer service re-checked with buyers and learned that the problem came from the game playing .

Therefore,we can collect some FAQs as below for player’s reference .

can not boot:
Batteries may be empty, the player to charge, sufficient power can boot up after.
Disorder in the process the machine crashed, according to the following RESET button on it.

how to get cps2 roms to work on the dingoo?

This tutorial shows you how to create perfect CPS2 converstions for your dingoo using the CPS2 converter tool.

Some users do have problems creating these conversions so this tutorial will give work as a quick guide for those.

1. first you need the cps2 converter www.dingoo-digital.com/downloads/applications/cps2-converter-english-version

2. then you need roms that still have the xor encryption tables

xor encrypted roms Here:Emuparadise.org

Just the xor’s here:cps2emu.emuhelp.com/files.php (mess with these when you know what your doing)

3. convert them, you will end up with a file with a .CP2 file extention (when it gets done converting and a window pops up with something like <#!$R@#%@> just click ok thats normal as long as you ended up with the file your good

4. put them in “intresting game” folder anywhere (”emulators” if you have the custom firmware)

plus start with something besides the metal slugs try 1944 for example get it right then try metal slug they give alot of people problems but once you got it in your head you’ll get them working.
